Calling all explorers! We’ve got the perfect way to search for the stars with our easy, fun recycled cardboard telescope craft. Whatever backyard adventure your kids have planned, they’ll be sure to love making their very own telescopes. Have fun!
What you will need:
Empty cardboard paper towel roll
Metallic confetti stars
Step 1: Paint your cardboard roll whatever color you’d like and allow to dry.
Step 2: Cut a large square of tissue paper (big enough to cover the hole in the cardboard roll with plenty of room to overlap.)
Step 3: Glue individual stars to the tissue paper square.
Step 4: Place the tissue paper square over one end of the cardboard roll (the stars should be on the outside) and secure to the sides with washi tape.
Step 5: Peek through your telescope and see your very own galaxy!
