I’m so lucky that my two girls really are best friends (well, most of the time!) They loved making these recycled cardboard best friend necklaces together. Once they were done, they wore them everywhere to show off their “BFF” love for each other. Hope the little ones in your life enjoy them as much as we did!
What you will need:
Step 1: Draw a heart onto your cardboard with a zig zag down the middle.
Step 2: Using scissors, cut out the heart and along the zig zag line, making two “broken heart” pieces.
Step 3: Paint each half of the heart a different color.
Step 4: Using white paint, paint “best” on one half and “friends” on the other.
Step 5: With the yarn needle, pierce a hole through each piece near the top and thread desired length of yarn through the hole.
Step 6: Tie into a bow around each BFF’s neck and enjoy!
